David is an audio engineer and performer currently based in Boston, MA. He is from the Rio Grande Valley (TX) and studied in the renowned Recording Arts & Sciences and Voice programs at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD.
As an engineer, David specializes in acoustic recording, working primarily with classical and jazz musicians. He has worked for the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 2019 as well as individuals and other organizations in the Boston area. David is also well-versed in livestream technology: he launched An die Musik Live!’s livestream series and continues to run many of the Harvard Musical Association’s livestreams.
An avid performer, David has appeared as a soloist with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra and Trinity Church in the City of Boston’s choir and orchestra. He is an active church musician in the Boston area, singing with the choirs of Trinity Church, Church of the Advent, Marsh Chapel, and other beacons of sacred music in the area. He has also performed operatic roles with the Peabody Conservatory Opera department and Opera Alchemy (Baltimore).
Aside from professional interests and experiences, David is an avid football (soccer) player and cyclist, supporting Manchester City and riding a fixed gear Bianchi San Jose. He appreciates carefully crafted beverages and will make you one of the best cups of coffee you’ve ever had. Promise.
